Supercontinents before Pangaea
Pangaea was not the first supercontinent. Ancient rocks and paleomagnetism constrain Nuna and Rodinia. Stops are representative viewing ages, not exact assembly or breakup dates. Before 540 Ma the globe shows continental crust fragments and plate boundaries; younger views use terrain reconstructions. The display changes at that boundary, and ancient coastlines and longitudes remain uncertain.
